  1. This is an animated demo of the waste stream at one of our plants. Once
  2. started, you may turn individual components, such as pumps, on or off by
  3. clicking on them. The simulate and status buttons both do the same thing,
  4. except status also opens another form on which you may select a failed
  5. component.
  6. Feel free to use this program or any part of it as you see fit. It is
  7. posted here to help those struggling with animation - as I am - and to
  8. seek answers to the problems noted below. There is no warranty to any of
  9. this material in any way by any stretch of the imagination.
  10. The source code - from Visual Basic 2.0 is included.
  11. Problems:
  12. This thing uses a big hunk of your GDI heap, and strange things will
  13. happen if you empty it; rebooting windows cures these problems.
  14. There is too much flicker. I have run this thing on a 66mhz 486, and the
  15. animated images still flicker.
